A Hell of a beginning.

I think I’ve died and gone to Texas.

Nutritional Deficiency and a swooping State Bird.
Well I’ve made it down to Houston, if not a little worse for wear.
What I didn’t mention in my last update was that I had a pretty big
dizzy spell as I waited for a connecting flight in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Departure point. A non-refundable ticket to a place less traveled.
This morning I truly began the upcoming adventure. Committed beyond a
point of return, boarding a flight, Houston bound! A short stop-over
in Salt Lake City, Utah and back in the air.
As it comes closer to ‘connecting’ with “Mavis” the Hell bike,
excitement, fear and a whole swag of other emotions swirl about.

Scorched by the Sun.

Single seal swishes about waves below.

Becoming a mass of white and grey.

Fax-to-email testing and a sweet as leather jacket.
Ok, so the “Fax-to-email” is kind of working. Just need to iron out
some little kinks, i.e the service I’m trilling only sends TIFF
attachments to my email address, but my website will only accept JPG’s
for upload. Technical dilemmas of being Lo-Fi.

San Francisco heartbeat and an alien typewriter.
Flying into San Francisco bay and seeing the Golden Gate bridge majestically spanned between two land masses, really brought home the fact that this trip is not just an idea sitting inside my head.
